BERNHARD WILLHELM x MYKITA FRANZ SUNGLASSES

Limited edition ‘Franz’ mirrored gold aviator style sunglasses produced by Mykita in collaboration with Bernhard Willhelm. The ‘Franz’ model was inspired by and named after legendary downhill champion Franz Klammer. The expansive but Spartan design is a conscious reference to the inadequacies of past manufacturing methods!
Inspired by the ski events of the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics, the collection is a natural extension of Bernhard Willhelm’s a/w mainline ski and sportswear 70s aesthetics. By joining forces with Mykita, an eyewear label known for their ultra-light frames, he’s created these aviator-style sheet metal sunglasses.
